The International Academy of Obstetrics & Gynecology offers a complete 84 semester unit curriculum designed to meet the educational requirements set forth under California Business & Professions Code §2512.5 for midwifery licensure in the State of California.

Duration: 2 years (full-time)
Mode: Online/theory-only (no clinical clerkships)
Tuition: $24,000 per year
Language of Instruction: English
Admission Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences (or equivalent)
Transfer Credit Available: 40 Semester Units Maximum
Maximum Enrollment: 24 Students
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The MSc in Obstetrics & Gynecology provides advanced academic training in:
Reproductive anatomy and physiology.
Maternal-fetal medicine.
Gynecologic disorders.
The program is designed for nurses, midwives, physician assistants, and other allied maternal-health professionals. Graduates will gain advanced knowledge and research skills in women’s health, without clinical licenseure.
PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the program, the students will be able to:
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of female reproductive anatomy and pelvic structures.
Explain the physiology of reproduction, pregnancy, labor, and lactation.
Analyze pathophysiology of obstetric and gynecologic disorders.
